UPON BEGINNING OF THIS MEDICAL PROGRAM: This medical school will apply for full accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) / EMAIL TO: lcme@aamc.org! Accreditation lasts eight years. A new accreditation is then required!  Graduates of LCME-accredited programs are eligible for entry into residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and students/graduates of LCME-accredited programs are eligible to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
